Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Service Coordinator in Nashville, TN onsite. You will coordinate scheduling and dispatch of technicians for startups, repairs, and maintenance, while handling customer inquiries and directing technical questions to the right resource.

You will track technician time, assist with AP/AR and warranty administration, and ensure accurate ERP data entry and timely close-out of work orders. HVAC experience and proficiency with service software are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in amechanical, electrical, or plumbing service field (2–4+ years).
• Experience working with HVAC Technicians (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch technicians for startups, repairs, warranty, and maintenance.
• Handle customer inquiries and route technical questions.
• Track time and attendance for technicians.
• Coordinate job startups and maintain customer communication on scheduling and progress.
• Invoice and bill customers.
• Assist in AP/AR functions and ensure payments are received.
• Coordinate warranty administration, parts orders and shipments.
• Enter work orders and customer data into ERP system.
• Close out work orders promptly with all paperwork filed.

Location: Nashville, TN - Onsite

Your Responsibilities:

• Work with Technician Supervisor and/or Operations, Service Center or District Manager in scheduling and dispatching of technicians for jobs (Startups/repairs, warranty, maintenance)
• Handle customer inquiries and routes questions of technical nature to the appropriate resource
• Tracking of time and attendance for technicians
• Coordinate job startups and maintain communication with the customer regarding scheduling for the startup and follow-up on jobs in progress/completed
• Invoice and bill customers
• Assist in performing local office AP/AR functions and follows up with customer to ensure that payment has been received
• Coordinate warranty administration process, parts orders, and track shipments
• Answer telephones and greet customers while maintaining professional and courteous customer contact
• Assist new hires in the completion of their new hire paperwork, complete employer required sections of forms (I-9) and ensure that it is sent to Human Resources on the new employee's first day of employment
• Maintain OSHA logs
• Enter all information and maintain information into Enterprise Resource System. This includes work orders, new customer information, and technician hours for billing purposes
• Ensure timely close-out on all work orders and that all associated paperwork (P.O., etc.) is received and filed with the proper job
• Responsible for gathering local prevailing wage rate and completing sending hours worked by Technicians on those PW jobs to Human Resources
• Maintain filing for and office equipment (copier, telephone, fax, etc.)
• Provide initial notification of Workers Compensation claims to insurance carrier

Your Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-4+years of related experience in amechanical, electrical, or plumbing service field
• Bachelor's degree may be considered in lieu of work experience
• Experience working with HVAC Technicians (preferred)
• Experience with Astea and/or any other service tracking software
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

This position may be filled at different levels depending on the candidate's education, experience, and demonstrated competencies.

The typical hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $28.41 - $45.10 in Tennessee. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
