Job summary

Doggett Equipment Services Group is seeking a Field Service Coordinator to manage service support activities and assist in developing the service team.

You will coordinate work orders, communicate with technicians and customers, and ensure timely closures while staying current on industry regulations and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Technical knowledge and experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook; PowerPoint advanced.
• Ability to diagnose and work well with customers; self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process completed work orders from field technicians.
• Ensure repairs are accurately documented and closed within five days of last activity.
• Enter all work order notes and adjust labor and travel times as needed.
• Dispatch and schedule technicians when required.
• Coordinate with CSAs, rental department, and outside vendors; ensure invoices and warranty references.
• Maintain knowledge of new systems, DOT regulations, and environmental compliance.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to achieve service goals.

Job Summary

Coordinate all functions related to service support and the development of all technicians. Support the overall objectives of the service department as a group.

Essential Functions

• Receive completed work orders from field technicians with job completion form
• Process work orders ensuring accuracy when the repairs are complete
• Ensure all work orders are closed within five days of last activity
• Enter all work order notes
• Adjust travel time as needed according to job/customer requirements
• Adjust labor repair time to marketing service time
• Dispatch and schedule technicians - when required
• Set up work orders when CSAs are not available or rental department request a repair - when required
• Communicate with technicians on jobs as needed for accurate job closings
• Look up warranty coverage for each machine and place in work order for technician to reference
• Work with outside vendors as needed and ensure invoices are provided for PO process
• Keep current on new systems, technology, and advancements in the industry
• Keep current on DOT regulations and requirements for service trucks as well as environmental compliance

Qualifications

• High school graduate preferred
• Technical knowledge and experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Intermediate user of Excel, Word and Outlook
• Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint or equivalent
• Must have a solid background in proper diagnostic procedures
• Must be self-motivated and a self-starter
• Ability to work well with internal and external customers
• Must be able to accomplish all requirements with minimal supervision

Typical Physical Activity

A major portion of every day will be spent outdoors walking, stooping and bending, climbing on and off machines. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Proper PPE is required for all training.

Travel Requirements

Must be able to travel regularly with overnight stays
