Job summary

Doggett Equipment Services Group in Covington, LA is seeking a Field Service Coordinator to coordinate all service-support functions and help develop the technician team. Responsibilities

• Receive and process field work orders with accuracy.

• Communicate with technicians to ensure accurate closings.

Job Summary

Coordinate all functions related to service support and the development of all technicians. Support the overall objectives of the service department as a group.

Essential Functions

• Receive completed work orders from field technicians with job completion form
• Process work orders ensuring accuracy when the repairs are complete
• Ensure all work orders are closed within five days of last activity
• Enter all work order notes
• Adjust travel time as needed according to job/customer requirements
• Adjust labor repair time to marketing service time
• Dispatch and schedule technicians – when required
• Set up work orders when CSA’s are not available or rental department request a repair – when required
• Communicate with technicians on jobs as needed for accurate job closings
• Look up warranty coverage for each machine and place in work order for technician to reference
• Work with outside vendors as needed and ensure invoices are provided for PO process
• Keep current on new systems, technology, and advancements in the industry
• Keep current on DOT regulations and requirements for service trucks as well as environmental compliance

Qualifications

• High school graduate preferred
• Technical knowledge and experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Intermediate user of Excel, Word and Outlook
• Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint or equivalent
• Must have a solid background in proper diagnostic procedures
• Must be self-motivated and a self-starter
• Ability to work well with internal and external customers
• Must be able to accomplish all requirements with minimal supervision

Typical Physical Activity

A major portion of every day will be spent outdoors walking, stooping and bending, climbing on and off machines. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Proper PPE is required for all training.

Travel Requirements

Must be able to travel regularly with overnight stays
