Job summary

Tecta America East LLC – Jessup Location seeks a Service Coordinator to support the Service Manager, Director, Superintendent, and field crews in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will manage customer accounts, resolve issues, and help grow the bidding pool through strong relationship-building.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 3+ years in service or roofing, proficiency with Navision and Microsoft Office, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; college degree considered a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years in service department, commercial roofing, and/or customer service.
• Must have strong planning, organization, detail orientation, and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Opens and maintains customer accounts by recording information and updating Navision records.
• Resolves service issues by assessing complaints, determining root cause, and explaining the best solution; ensures resolution.
• Develops and maintains business relationships to broaden Tecta’s bidding pool.
• Attends trade events and seminars to develop industry relationships.
• Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
• Recommends potential products or services to management by analyzing customer information.
• Investigates and resolves problems across responsibilities; gathers data to determine proper action.
• Performs accounts receivable/payable functions as needed to maintain fiscal health of the service department.
• Develops daily and weekly field schedules; manages off-hours on-call schedule.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

We are seeking a Service Coordinator for our Jessup MD location. The Service Coordinator will be responsible for interfacing with the Service Manager, Service Director, Service Superintendent, and field crews. Provide comprehensive support to all team members by effectively communicating and responding to customer needs.

Job Functions (includes)

• Opens and maintains customer accounts by recording account information and inputting into Navision and updating account information as required.
• Resolves service department/customer issues by assessing the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
• Develop and maintain business relationships to broaden Tecta’s bidding pool.
• Attend trade events, lunch-and-learn seminars, and trade organization meetings to further develop trade industry relationships.
• Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
• Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
• Investigate and resolve problems relating to all areas of responsibility, gather and analyze information and take proper course of action.
• Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable functions as required to maintain fiscal wellness of service department.
• Develop the daily and weekly field schedule, along with managing the off-hours on-call schedule.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree a plus.
• Minimum of three (3) years of service department, commercial roofing, and/or customer service experience.
• Critical skills include planning & organizing; problem identification/resolution, attention to detail, multi-tasking, follow-through, priority setting, and accomplishing tasks in a timely manner.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
• Prior commercial roofing experience a plus but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to clearly convey concepts, assumptions, and thought patterns used to develop servce documents.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment Background Check, Drug Test and be E-Verified.

Salary starting at $65,000 and up, dependent upon experience.
