Job summary

Welch Equipment Company, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Service Coordinator to process service work orders and track technician time. You will handle calls from customers and technicians, coordinate daily needs, and ensure accurate invoicing and dispatching.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift, with benefits including insurance and a 401(k) plan. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process work orders for service projects accurately.
• Record technicians' time and enter into ADP.
• Answer customer and technician calls daily.
• Communicate daily with customers on service needs and invoices.
• Maintain a Work In Process (WIP) per policy and expectations.
• Assist dispatching and coordinate with internal teams.

Position Description

Works in conjunction with all other service coordinators and the branch technicians to accurately process work orders for customers for service work provided by Welch Equipment Com pan y . This role also collects technicians worked time and enters into ADP . Answers incoming calls from Customers, technicians and other employees. Communicates with customers on daily customer needs such as service calls, purchase orders and invoice disputes.

Job Type and Schedule

Full time, M-F 8-hour shift

• Compensation Range : $23.00 - $28.00

Responsibilities

• Service coordinators are responsible for their assigned technician team
• Maintain a Work In Process (WIP) according to company policies and expectations.
• Monitor, collect , and input all technicians worked time daily.
• Spot-check technicians' timecards against GPS for accuracy and to make sure that all technicians are following company policies.
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with internal teams including technicians, parts, accounting, etc
• Answer all overflow of incoming service calls. Collecting the necessary information on those service calls for proper dispatching.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
• Additional duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Possess a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel , and Word )
• Very organized
• Ability to multi-task
• Work with minimal supervision

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be customer focused both internally and externally
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to varying workloads and environments
