Job summary

Welch Equipment Company is a premier provider of material handling solutions seeking a detail-oriented parts coordinator. You will process orders, research parts, and communicate with customers and vendors to ensure timely fulfillment.

Responsibilities include creating purchase orders, expediting backorders, and daily reporting, while maintaining safety and efficiency. A high school diploma or GED is required, forklift knowledge preferred, and occasional cross-department collaboration is

Qualifications

• High school or GED equivalent.
• Forklift knowledge preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude highly preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to prioritize and shift between tasks based on operational needs.
• Ability to work well with team and with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Process and research parts including orders, including post, pick, & invoice.
• Contact customers awaiting responses to problems (follow-up).
• Create purchase orders, receive, and distribute accordingly.
• Update and expedite backorders with vendors.
• Communicate order updates to internal and external customers.
• Daily and monthly reporting.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Additional duties as assigned.
