Trane is seeking a Service Controls Technician in the Macon, GA area.
In this extremely unique role blending your HVAC and Controls knowledge, you will be responsible for retrofitting new systems, diagnosing, service and repair of building automation systems in diverse commercial settings.
If you have 3+ years of experience with HVAC controls and troubleshooting, repairing and servicing commercial HVAC units, Trane wants to hear from you!

This position has been designated as Remote within Geography and work will be performed in Macon, GA.
What you will do:
In this position, you will leverage your knowledge of electronics, direct digital controls, airflow, hydronics, refrigeration theory, and building control techniques to ensure the BAS system is running smoothly.
This role is the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies/Trane Customers in a defined market with a diverse commercial base including Healthcare, Process Manufacturing Facilities, Education Institutions and Office Complexes. You will also use a variety of hand tools, interpreting control drawings, plans, and specifications, to mount, assemble, test, and program the system in a diverse commercial and industrial environment.
Additionally, you would be expected to engage in retrofit and repair of environmental-comfort systems, utilizing knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts.

Base Pay Range: $24-38+ / hourly
