Job summary

Smart & Final in Pasadena is hiring a Service Clerk to support customers, manage carts, and assist with merchandise loading. You will help keep aisles neat, check prices, and assist in parking lot or store maintenance as needed.

Prioritize excellent service and safety as you join our fast-paced team. The role requires the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and communicate effectively in English; computer/Outlook skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Read and write English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Explain information clearly in one-on-one or small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain carts and assist customers with purchases and loading to vehicles.
• Check and compare prices; return merchandise to shelves as needed.
• Keep entrances and restrooms clean; monitor store cleanliness throughout the day.
• Pull items from shelves and ensure correct placement and visibility.
• Assist in parking lot duties and general store maintenance.
