Job summary

Toyota Carlsbad is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Service Department Cashier to close repair orders and process payments for service, parts, rentals, and vehicle sales. You will greet customers, handle transactions accurately, and maintain a clean, professional checkout area while adhering to cash-handling procedures.

The role requires retail experience, strong communication, and the ability to learn POS software.

Qualifications

• Two years of retail experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Cash-handling experience and accuracy.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to stay organized while assisting customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers promptly, creating a friendly and welcoming environment.
• Close repair orders and accurately collect and process payments for service, parts, rentals, vehicle sales, and other transactions.
• Respond to customer questions and concerns professionally, referring issues to the appropriate team member when needed.
• Follow established cash-handling, payment-processing, and quality control procedures.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work weekends and overtime as needed.
