Qualifications

The Service Center Operations Supervisor - 2nd Shift - is responsible for overseeing outbound operations, implementing effective strategies, ensuring shipping measures and on time delivery, and demonstrating a strong focus on continuous improvement. The role also requires a commitment to safety standards and effective people leadership skills.

Annual Salary: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00

Key Accountabilities

Operational Excellence:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the regional distribution center, ensuring efficient and timely inbound processes.
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Implement best practices to maximize productivity in receiving and handling incoming shipments.
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve distribution center performance.

Quality Assurance:

Establish and enforce quality control procedures to meet or exceed industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality issues.
Conduct regular inspections and implement measures to improve overall product quality.

Policy Adherence:

Ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
Uphold safety and compliance standards.

People Leadership:

Lead and inspire a team of distribution center staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Provide coaching, feedback, and training to team members to enhance performance and skill development.
Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet operational demands.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations within the distribution center.
