Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Worker I to receive, unpack, check, and store warehouse materials. You will pick, pack, crate, and ship orders, perform assembly tasks, and operate power equipment under supervision.

• Verify materials received match quality, type, and quantity.
• Break down freight and hand off-load product to consolidated put-away location.
• Pick product orders and load onto pallets for shipment.
• Package outbound shipments with wrapping, straps or boxing.
• Manifest UPS shipments and create bills of lading.
• Attach identifying tags to products or shipments.
• Fulfill all safety responsibilities and related duties as assigned.

Job Description

Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Associate I receives unpacks, checks, and stows warehouses materials. Picks, packs, crates, and ships product to fill orders. Conducts assembly work, operates power equipment, and performs a variety of tasks under direct supervision.

Perform quality checks as needed and properly record results if necessary. Alert Leadsperson of any quality problems, part shortages, machine breakdowns or any other situations.

Key Accountabilities

• Off-loading trucks utilizing forklift or pallet jack
• Verify that the quality, type, and number of materials received are accurate
• Breaking down freight - Hand off-loading of product to consolidated put-away location
• Picking product orders - Hand loading product to pallets
• Packaging outbound shipments - Wraps, straps or over pack boxing of product
• Manifesting UPS shipments
• Creates bills of lading for truck carriers
• Produce and attach identifying tags to product or shipments
• Fulfills all safety responsibilities
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor/Lead
• All duties as assigned
