Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree or inventory control certifications preferred.
  • 2+ years in inventory control or logistics operations.
  • Proven experience in inventory control and service center leadership.
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory systems, audit requirements, warehouse optimization strategies, and facility management.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to operate independently and lead teams across dynamic, multi-location environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS); HCAP experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with FIFO practices and service center layout optimization.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment; forklift certification is an advantage.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and operate warehouse equipment for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all Service Center operations in alignment with customer requirements and project scope.
  • Manage inventory control operations across receiving, putaway, picking, and shipping of high-value equipment and materials.
  • Coordinate Service Center functions to meet customer and project requirements.
  • Determine and assign putaway locations according to warehouse strategy and project needs.
  • Maintain real-time inventory tracking and lifecycle traceability in HCAP.
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies and operational barriers.
  • Supervise, guide, assign tasks to, and mentor a small team.
  • Manage daily facility operations, product quality, workflow, and safety standards.
  • Act as onsite lead and primary point of contact at customer or project locations as needed.
  • Provide leadership feedback on operational challenges, warehouse layout, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on workflow, space utilization, and customer-focused improvements.
  • Oversee FIFO pick-ticket fulfillment and verify outbound shipment accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure equipment is staged, labeled, and documented according to quality and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate with logistics and production teams to meet delivery schedules and customer deadlines.
  • Maintain HCAP audit trails for all inventory movement.
  • Generate reports on inventory, transactions, Service Center performance, and project status.
  • Support data-driven decisions through reliable metrics and operational insights.
