Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to help manage order processing and keep inventories accurate in a high-volume distribution environment.

You will work with a Warehouse Management System, operate material handling equipment, and collaborate with management to resolve discrepancies and ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years’ experience working with Order management system / inventory systems in a high volume facility
• Basic clerical and data entry skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
• Ability to transport up to 20 lbs
• Basic mathematical calculation skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Ability to build effective working relationships
• Ability to work under stress and pressure with high workloads and deadlines
• Ability to use relevant material handling equipment, including forklifts
• Clear verbal communication skills
• High School/G.E.D.
• Ability to work in a distribution center environment with varying heights, temperatures, and moderate consistent noise levels
• Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires
