Job summary

Pep Boys is seeking a Customer Service Lead to deliver exceptional customer experiences while serving as a trusted leader within the service center. The CSL opens and closes the store as scheduled and acts as the primary on-site leader when management is not present.

The role combines strong customer focus, leadership presence, and operational accountability, mentoring team members and ensuring safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of service industry experience.
• Valid Driver's License and knowledge of automotive service.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced Customer Service Advisor duties and model exceptional service.
• Act as key holder; open/close store and handle cash procedures.
• Lead on-duty when Manager absent; oversee daily operations.
• Mentor, train, and onboard Advisors; support recruitment and feedback.
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure efficient, customer-focused service.
• Promote safety and compliance across shifts.
