Job summary

IDR, Inc. is seeking a Service Center Lead (Kitting) to support our client in Saline, Michigan. This onsite role focuses on keeping equipment moving through receiving, put-away, picking/kitting, and shipping while protecting inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inventory control, or logistics operations.
• Proven experience in inventory control and service center leadership.
• Strong working knowledge of inventory systems, audit requirements, and service center optimization strategies.
• Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS); experience with HCAP is a plus.
• Not open to third-party recruiters or employers.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (now or in the future).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily service center activities to meet customer requirements and project timelines.
• Own end-to-end inventory flow:receive, verify, put away, pick/kitting, stage, and ship equipment.
• Maintain strong inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and disciplined transaction control.
• Use the inventory management/WMS tools to ensure clean documentation and system compliance.
• Coordinate onsite workflow and keep facility operations running smoothly, especially when senior leadership is offsite.
• Identify opportunities to improve layout, efficiency, safety, and standard work; share recommendations and updates with leadership.
