Job summary

Goodyear is a leader in commercial tire centers and is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the Center Manager to run the location, drive sales, control costs, and uphold safety and service excellence.

You will assist with hiring, training, merchandising, billing, invoicing, and asset protection, and you will lead the team when the manager is away, supporting Goodyear's mission to deliver outstanding fleet services.

Qualifications

Must be able to relocate as needed.
Minimum 1 year of management experience.
Valid driver's license required.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assist the Center Manager in the management of the location.
Direct store activities in the absence of the center manager.
Assist with hiring, training, and managing associates.
Assist the sales and service departments.
Operate the center in the absence of the center manager, ensuring SOP compliance and asset protection.
Enforce company policies and procedures.
Provide Service Excellence to meet sales and service goals.
Communicate work assignments to associates.
Assist with staffing levels with qualified personnel.
Assist with safety, health, and environmental issues.
Perform manual tasks including lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
