Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers to partner with the Center Manager in running the location, maximizing sales, reducing costs, and delivering exceptional customer service across a nationwide network.

You will assist with staffing, training, and safety, promote products and services, and assume a lead role when the manager is absent.

Qualifications

• One year of previous management experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Manager in the management of the location.
• Direct the store in the absence of the center manager to attain sales and profit objectives.
• Assist with hiring, training, and managing associates.
• Support sales and service departments.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and protect assets including inventory, trucks, and equipment.
• Communicate work assignments and staffing needs to associates.
• Support safety, health, and environmental issues.
