Join to apply for the Service Attendant/Busser role at Corner Bakery.

The Service Attendant/Busser prepares and serves food items under the direction of the Cafe manager.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Pulls and wraps bread
2. Prepares food (soups, salads, desserts, beverages, wraps, pickles, etc.)
3. Stocks Front of House (FOH)
4. Prepares trays
5. Delivers food to guests
6. Cleans and maintains the dining room
7. Cleans and maintains the restrooms
8. Provides friendly service, takes guest requests, refers to manager when needed
9. Supports and promotes company initiatives
10. Secondary functions: Expo, Cashier, Dishwasher, Line Cook

Highlighted Tasks

• Maintains abundant FOH displays and condiment stations
• Checks bathrooms; performs additional cleaning duties as required
• Busses tables
• Prepares food to specifications and order requests
• Maintains accurate cash flow and transaction integrity when cashiering
• Prepares and organizes food for guest delivery

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, or in pursuit
• Ability to complete CBC driver training, pass MVR, and maintain a valid driver's license with insurance
• State Foodhandler card/ServSafe certification as applicable
• Preferably 3+ months' experience in guest service, restaurant or retail preferred
• Strong guest service and communication skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Proficient in POS systems
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
