UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Service Area Director, Clinical Documentation Integrity, to oversee CDI programs across six hospitals in AZ and NV. The role emphasizes on-site leadership with frequent executive collaboration and client engagement, while enabling remote work across the U.S.

You will drive program performance through KPIs, staffing oversight, and cross-functional collaboration with finance and quality teams.

Formación

• CCDS or CDIP certification required.
• 5+ years of acute care hospital RN experience OR CDI experience with CDI certification (CCDS/CDIP).
• 2+ years of leadership experience (team + program oversight).
• Advanced analytics and reporting experience (Excel, dashboards).
• Ability to travel 30–40%.

Responsabilidades

• Lead CDI operations across 6 hospitals (AZ + NV).
• Drive program performance through KPIs, reporting, and operational oversight.
• Partner with hospital executives (CFO, CMO, clinical leadership).
• Lead client-facing meetings, escalations, and strategic discussions.
• Ensure effective staffing, workflows, and quality outcomes.
• Provide CDI education to providers and staff.
• Support cross-functional collaboration with finance, quality, and case management.
