Job summary

SUSSEX HONDA AND MERCEDES BENZ OF NEWTON in Newton, NJ is hiring a Service BDC Scheduler to support the Service Department by handling high volumes of calls, texts and emails to schedule, confirm, and follow up on service appointments.

The role requires clear communication, CRM and MS Office proficiency, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a courteous, professional customer experience. A high school diploma and customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience, preferably in a BDC or call center.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multitask and manage time in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls, texts, and emails to schedule service appointments.
• Make outbound contacts regarding maintenance, recalls, and service opportunities.
• Schedule and confirm service appointments and maintain notes in dealership systems.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors to manage appointment flow.
• Follow up with customers on missed or declined service.
• Maintain accurate customer information and appointment details.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide professional service.
• Perform other BDC and administrative duties as needed.
