Job summary

Daisy - Portsmouth seeks a Service and Installation Technician to install, configure, and maintain low-voltage integrated systems for residential and commercial locations. You will troubleshoot audio, visual, controls, and security equipment while building trusted client relationships and representing the Daisy brand.

Lead technicians interact with clients and collaborate with project teams to ensure installations meet standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of AV/Networking/Technology Integration experience.
  • Control4 Certification required.
  • Motivated to learn new technologies and processes.
  • Exhibits strong management and leadership skills; capable of leading and motivating others.
  • Can pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Possess a valid California driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
  • Able to independently lift items up to 50 pounds.
  • Capable of sitting, standing, and kneeling for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, floor plans, specifications, and manuals.
  • Manage all aspects of support including end-user training, troubleshooting, and escalation.
  • Collaborate on problem-solving in installation standards and share outcomes in weekly meetings.
  • Travel to various job sites; use hand and power tools safely; maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle.
  • Interact with builders and industry professionals beyond clients.
  • Communicate daily with the project manager about project progress.

The Service and Installation Technician will service the greater Boston and Cape Cod area.

We are seeking a Service Technician who is proficient at installing, configuring, and maintaining low-voltage integrated system equipment, devices, and components. The Service Technician performs system configuration, calibration, programming, testing, and troubleshooting – as well as demonstrates mastery of basic wiring/cabling for low-voltage integrated systems.

Job Summary

We seek a Service and Installation Technician to solve and troubleshoot audio, visual, controls, and security equipment in residential and commercial locations. Our Lead Technicians regularly interact with clients while representing the Daisy brand and develop trusted relationships, helping to enhance their lives through technology.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of support including end-user training, troubleshooting, and follow through on escalation of issues.
  • Collaborate on problem-solving in both installation standards and provide challenges and successes during weekly team meetings]
  • Travels to various job sites; uses hand and power tools safely; maintains company-issued tools, equipment, and vehicle.
  • In addition to clients, interact with builders and other industry professionals.
  • Communicate every day with the project manager about the progress of the project.
