Job summary

Subaru of Olathe is seeking a Service Advisor to greet guests, answer calls, and help schedule appointments. You will identify mechanical issues through questions, visual inspections, or road tests to guide repair decisions.

You will discuss inspection results with customers, prepare repair orders with time and cost estimates, and explain charges. Baxter Auto Group supports development and benefits across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests, answer phone calls, and assist with setting appointments.
• Help identify a mechanical problem by asking investigative questions or by performing a visual inspection and/or road test.
• Confer with customers about inspection results, recommend corrective procedures, and prepare work order for needed repairs.
• Prepare a repair order showing time, cost and labor estimates for service.
• Write a brief description of the customer's concern on the repair order to help the technician locate the problem.
• Explain the work performed and the repair order charges to the customer.
• Resolve customer concerns in an effective manner.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
