Job summary

Subaru of Olathe is looking for an Assistant Service Advisor to greet guests, handle calls, and help schedule appointments. You will help identify mechanical issues through questions and road tests, then prepare repair orders with time and cost estimates.

You will describe customer concerns to technicians, explain charges, and support the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Competitive pay and strong benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle.
• Customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests, answer phone calls, and assist with setting appointments.
• Assist in identifying a mechanical problem by asking investigative questions or by performing a visual inspection and/or road test
• Confer with customers about inspection results, recommend corrective procedures, and prepare work order for needed repairs.
• Prepare a repair order showing time, cost and labor estimates for service.
• Write a brief description of the customer's concern on the repair order to help the technician locate the problem.
• Explain the work performed and the repair order charges to the customer.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
