Job summary

Fields Chrysler Jeep Ram is seeking a Service Technician to perform repairs and tests on vehicles using diagnostic tools. You will communicate with the Service Advisor about additional work and timelines, and execute repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

Service Technician experience required.
A-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
Excellent customer service skills.
Basic computer skills.
Positive, friendly attitude with a customer service mindset.
Enjoys fast-paced environment.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures.
Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
Communicate with Service Advisor about needed additional repairs and provide time estimates.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
