Fields Chrysler Jeep Ram in Asheville, NC is seeking a high-integrity, energetic Service Technician to join our dealership team. You will perform repairs and diagnostics to precise standards, driving customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.

The role offers a competitive weekly base pay of $600 plus 5.5% commission on gross profit from parts and labor, with a supportive, promotion-friendly culture and opportunities to grow within the organization.

Qualifications

• Service technician experience required.
• A-level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical and engine repair.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional repairs needed and provide time estimates.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
