Job summary

Morrie's Bellevue Subaru in Bellevue, NE is seeking a Service Advisor to greet customers, gather vehicle information, and coordinate repairs with the service team. You will communicate estimates, timelines, and care recommendations to customers while ensuring a smooth service flow.

The role requires strong problem solving and communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple repair orders with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Strong problem solving and communication skills are essential.
• Professional presentation and clear written/verbal communication are required.
• Excellent organizational skills and reliability are expected.
• CDK experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, listen to the description of the problem, obtain customer and vehicle information
• Inspect vehicles for bodywork, notify the customer if work is needed
• Secure agreement from customers before repairs; cover cost estimate; and approximate time when vehicle's work will be completed
• Advise customers on car care and maintenance per manufacturer specifications, using maintenance menus
• Handle minor customer complaints and misunderstandings
• Follow up progress of each repair order during the day, contact customers by telephone regarding changes in the estimate or time promised
• Handle telephone inquiries and return messages promptly
• Deliver vehicles to customers and explain charges and coverage
• Refer leads and prospects for vehicle sales to the new and pre-owned departments
• Assist the service manager as necessary
• Follow safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt, dust and harsh chemicals

• Assist the service manager as necessary
