Job summary

Toyota of New Orleans in New Orleans, LA is seeking an Service Advisor to oversee service orders and the service drive, ensuring customers receive prompt, courteous assistance and efficient service flow.

Responsibilities include concierge support for owner inquiries, coordinating technicians’ time, and answering technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs. Must maintain high customer satisfaction and comply with laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Professional, well-groomed appearance and a positive attitude are expected.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record required.
• Ability to pass drug testing, MVR/Insurability, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide concierge support for owner inquiries (phone or in person) to assure proper handling.
• Ensure daily inventory of technicians' time is sold to service customers.
• Distribute work between technicians efficiently.
• Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
• Maintain Customer Satisfaction scores at or above company standards.
• Assist in diagnosing vehicle problems; order parts and tools as necessary.
• Reinforce company policies and adhere to company standards.
• Encourage compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain good working relationship with factory(s) and foster positive employee relations.
