Ready to turn your people skills into a rewarding career? White River Toyota is hiring a Service Advisor to be the go-to expert for our customers when they bring their vehicles in for service. You'll play a key role in creating a seamless, welcoming experience—building trust, answering questions, and keeping things running smoothly. Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers coming into the service department and determine the nature of customers requests.
  • Explain company policies, procedures, products, services, etc.
  • Answer a variety of questions related to car repairs and servicing.
  • Explain labor and parts estimates; investigate customer concerns.
  • Track progress on customers vehicles, and keep customers apprised.
  • Follow up with customers after work is done to ensure satisfaction.
  • Use of ADP/CDK software, Tis, Dealer Daily and iPad to complete tasks.
  • Prepare repair orders and customer bill, ensuring that final charges correlate to quotes.
  • Perform a variety of tasks associated with processing warranty claims.
  • Maintain all required logs and records of service department activities.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a high school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.
  • Fundamental computer and administrative/clerical skills.
  • Excellent customer relations skills, including basic sales skills.
  • General technical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and repair is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work with little supervision and the drive to succeed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment; experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
