Job summary

Gateway Truck & Refrigeration in West Chicago, IL is seeking a Service Advisor to represent the shop to customers, liaise with technicians, verify warranties, and ensure accurate repair orders and estimates are prepared.

A high school diploma (CDL preferred) plus 2+ years in a Service Advisor role is desired. Strong communication, organization, computer skills, and a team-oriented attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL driver's license with clean driving record (preferred).
• 2+ years' experience as a Service Advisor or similar position beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Represent GTR to customers through the efficient and accurate handling of customer questions and repair orders
• Act as a liaison between the customer and technicians to ensure all parties know the status of repairs
• Verify warranty and service contracts as needed
• Provide accurate repair orders and estimates to customers to maintain profit margins
• Maintain service records for customers
• Prepare billing invoices for customers
• Other duties as assigned

Job Duties
