Job summary

A well-known truck and refrigeration dealership in De Forest, MN is seeking a qualified refrigeration technician. In this role, you will perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on refrigeration units and APUs. Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a refrigeration tech or diesel mechanic preferred.
• Ability to obtain & maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) Technical Certification.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs of refrigeration units and APUs.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Diagnose malfunctions and update the customer on repairs.

Job Duties

• Perform mechanical repairs of refrigeration units and APUs in the shop and at customer locations
• Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs
• Diagnose malfunctions and update the customer on needed repairs
• Identify warranty repairs and document properly on the repair order
• Keep work area clean and safe
• Complete required documentation for work order files and customer billing
• Other duties as assigned
