Job summary

Suburban Ford Romeo is seeking an experienced Service Writer to take charge of the customer experience from start to finish, manage repair orders, and serve as the critical link between customers and technicians.

The ideal candidate will have proven service writing or advisor experience, strong communication, a clean driving record, and the ability to build accurate labor and parts estimates while promoting current service specials.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Writer or Service Advisor.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Background as an automotive technician is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of the customer experience from start to finish—manage repair orders.
• Set accurate expectations and serve as the link between customer and technician.
• Initiate service and repair orders based on customer concerns.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage.
• Build accurate repair estimates including labor, parts, and deductibles.
• Keep customers informed on status, costs, and timelines.
• Maintain detailed and up‑to‑date customer records.
• Promote current service specials and build long-term relationships.
