Job summary

Suburban Ford Romeo is seeking an experienced Service Writer to manage the customer experience from start to finish, coordinating repair orders and serving as the link between customer and technician.

You will verify warranties, prepare repair estimates, and communicate clearly with customers and technicians while maintaining detailed records and promoting service specials.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a Service Writer or Service Advisor.
• Background as automotive technician is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Initiate service and repair orders based on customer concerns and vehicle performance.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage.
• Build accurate repair estimates including labor, parts, and deductibles.
• Communicate service needs clearly to both customers and technicians.
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process—status, costs, and service timelines.
• Administer manufacturer warranties for eligible repairs.

• Promote current service specials and build long‑term customer relationships.

What You’ll Do
