Job summary

You will focus on high customer satisfaction, productive staffing, and cost controls while guiding service activity to meet customer expectations. With 3+ years in heavy-duty diesel service, you will coordinate quotes, authorize work, and maintain clear communications with customers and shop staff to ensure timely,

Qualifications

• 3+ Years’ experience with heavy duty dealership and/or diesel service environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers by phone or in person to determine concerns and needs with professionalism.
• Matches customer needs with product and service offerings and proposes solutions.
• Liaison between customers and shop personnel to determine work, quote prices and terms.
• Stays in close contact with customers during the transaction and documents communications.
• Open and close work orders in a timely manner.
• Verify warranty status with assistance from warranty department.

Service Advisor Opportunity Summary:Service Advisor are responsible for supporting generator technicians and assisting in the operation of managing a profitable service department through productive staffing, strong customer satisfaction, cost controls, setting and meeting objectives with high initiative for change and control of service activity to ensure all work scheduled is performed to the customer’s satisfaction.

Job Duties:

• Communicates with the customer, either by phone or in person, to determinecustomer’s concerns, problems or needs - present and future - while maintaining a high degree of professionalism.
• Matches customer needs with W. W. Williams product and service offerings and proposes solutions, maximizing customer satisfaction and sales opportunities.
• Liaison between customers and shop personnel to determine work to be performed, quote prices and credit terms with a high degree of accuracy and obtain customers’ authorization to proceed.
• Stays in close contact with customers during the course of the transaction and documents all communications with the customer including price quotes, authorizations received, payment terms and special customer requests.
• Open and close work orders in a timely manner.
• Verifying equipment's current warranty status with assistance from warranty department.

Work Experience & Qualifications:

• 3+ Years’ experience with heavy duty dealership and/or diesel service environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
