Job summary

CT Power & Iceberg Enterprises, a W.W. Williams Company, is seeking a Service Advisor to support generator technicians and help run a profitable service department through staffing, customer satisfaction, and cost controls.

You will set objectives, monitor performance, and strive for efficient scheduling while maintaining high service standards for customers. You will communicate with customers, prepare quotes, and coordinate with shop personnel to ensure work is performed to customer

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in heavy-duty dealership and/or diesel service environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the customer, either by phone or in person, to determine customer’s concerns and needs with professionalism.
• Matches customer needs with W. W. Williams product and service offerings and proposes solutions to maximize customer satisfaction and sales opportunities.
• Liaison between customers and shop personnel to determine work to be performed, quote prices and credit terms with accuracy and obtain customer authorization to proceed.
• Stays in close contact with customers during the transaction and documents all communications including price quotes, authorizations, payment terms and special requests.
• Open and close work orders in a timely manner.
• Verifying equipment's current warranty status with assistance from warranty department.

Opportunity Summary:

Service Advisor are responsible for supporting generator technicians and assisting in the operation of managing a profitable service department through productive staffing, strong customer satisfaction, cost controls, setting and meeting objectives with high initiative for change and control of service activity to ensure all work scheduled is performed to the customer’s satisfaction.

Work Experience & Qualifications
