Job description

The Service Advisor plays a pivotal role in the equipment service sector, acting as the key liaison between customers and technical teams to ensure the highest level of service delivery. This position is essential in translating technical findings from field technicians into actionable, customer-focused repair solutions. By developing detailed service quotations and managing the warranty claims process, the Service Advisor supports the seamless execution of service opportunities while driving revenue growth through exceptional customer service.

In this Service Advisor role, you will work closely with technicians to ensure their service recommendations are accurately communicated and carried out. This interaction ensures that customer needs are not only met but exceeded throughout the repair process. Additionally, the Service Advisor is responsible for providing customers with clear and comprehensive quotations, helping them make informed decisions about necessary repairs or maintenance. Your contributions will be recognized as key to supporting the company's reputation for reliability and efficiency in delivering equipment solutions.

Service Advisors are also entrusted with following up on outstanding service opportunities, ensuring that no customer inquiry goes unresolved. You will have the chance to work in a dynamic environment that values your input and expertise, while also providing opportunities for professional growth and development. As part of a customer-focused organization, you will be instrumental in fostering repeat business and long-term client relationships by consistently delivering outstanding service experiences.

Within this role, you will leverage your technical background, diagnostic capabilities, and communication skills to prepare accurate estimates and proposals. The Service Advisor position requires a solid understanding of equipment service processes, warranty procedures, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders. Proficiency with digital tools is essential, as you will be using Microsoft Office and handheld devices such as smartphones and tablets in your daily activities.

Stark Tech is committed to advancing the careers of its employees. As a Service Advisor, you will benefit from working in a fast-paced, supportive environment that values your dedication and expertise. The company’s focus on energy solutions and sustainability offers you the chance to contribute to meaningful projects while enjoying a competitive compensation and benefits package. Applicants for the Service Advisor position must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with significant field experience in the HVAC, Boiler, or Critical Power industries. Essential certifications, including Universal EPA CFC and OSHA 10, are required to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Additional certifications, such as EGSA, UA Apprenticeship, NATE, or STAR, are highly valued and may distinguish you as an ideal candidate. Authorization to work in the United States and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings are mandatory requirements for this position.
