Job summary

Swickard Auto Group, operating Mercedes-Benz of Thousand Oaks, invites applications for a Service Advisor. This role focuses on guest-first service, accurate estimates, and timely communication in a luxury environment.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in service advisory or guest-facing roles, with strong communication and organizational skills. MB familiarity is a plus, and a clean driving record is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of service advisor, hospitality, or guest-facing sales experience preferred.
• Mercedes-Benz or luxury European brand service experience is a strong plus.
• Clear, composed communicator for high-expectation MB guests.
• Highly organized with attention to detail; accurate estimates and timelines.
• Self-motivated with a drive to build a long-term book of returning luxury guests.
• Familiar with DMS platforms or quick to learn them.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests through the service process.
• Translate repair findings into clear, confident guest communication.
• Build precise estimates and commit to timelines.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to keep workflows on schedule.
• Identify and present additional service recommendations for safety and performance.
• Deliver a Mercedes-Benz-standard guest experience that earns loyalty.
• Maintain accurate records in the DMS and ensure compliance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests throughout the service process -- from write-up through vehicle return
• Translate technical repair findings on Mercedes-Benz's sophisticated platform into clear, confident guest communication that earns authorization through honest recommendations
• Build precise estimates, commit to realistic timelines, and follow through on every promise made
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to keep repair workflows moving efficiently and on schedule
• Identify and present additional service recommendations that protect guest safety and vehicle performance
• Deliver a consistent, professional Mercedes-Benz-standard guest experience that keeps Conejo Valley owners returning to this store
• Maintain accurate records in the DMS and uphold all documentation and compliance standards

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 1+ year of service advisor, hospitality, or guest-facing sales experience preferred -- candidates from luxury hospitality, high-end retail, or comparable backgrounds encouraged to apply
• Mercedes-Benz or luxury European brand service experience a strong plus -- familiarity with the platform and the ownership profile accelerates effectiveness from day one
• Clear, composed communicator -- Thousand Oaks MB guests are high-expectation and the advisor who earns their loyalty does so through preparation, consistency, and honest follow-through
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail -- accurate estimates and realistic timelines are non-negotiable at this level
• Self-motivated with a genuine drive to build a long-term book of returning luxury guests
• Comfortable with DMS platforms or quick to learn them
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
