Job summary

Red McCombs Ford in San Antonio is seeking a Service Advisor to greet customers, gather vehicle information, and schedule maintenance. You will prepare estimates, communicate findings, and ensure accurate invoicing while keeping customers informed throughout the service process.

We value a customer-first attitude, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Minimum 1 year in a service department is preferred; Ford dealership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly
• Obtain customer and vehicle information
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
• Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
• Establish follow up time
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers
