Swickard Auto Group seeks an experienced Service Advisor for BMW of Portland in Portland, OR. 1+ year in a franchised dealership is required, with strong communication and organization to deliver precise estimates and timely service.

You will build guest trust, present recommendations clearly, and maintain accurate DMS records while earning a high OTE in a luxury brand store in the Pacific Northwest.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of service advisor experience at a franchised dealership.
• BMW or European brand experience is a strong plus.
• Clear, confident communication and follow-through.
• High attention to detail and strong organization.
• Familiarity with DMS systems (Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for guests from write-up to delivery.
• Translate repair info into clear, confident communications.
• Build precise estimates and realistic timelines; follow through.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to keep workflows moving.
• Identify and present additional service recommendations.
• Deliver a consistent, BMW-standard guest experience.
• Maintain accurate records in the DMS and compliance.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests throughout the service process -- from write-up to delivery
• Translate technical repair information into clear, confident communication that earns trust and sets accurate expectations
• Build precise estimates, commit to realistic timelines, and follow through on every promise made to the guest
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to keep repair workflows moving efficiently and on schedule
• Identify and present additional service recommendations that protect guest safety and vehicle performance
• Deliver a consistent, professional BMW-standard guest experience that keeps owners coming back
• Maintain accurate records in the DMS and uphold all documentation and compliance standards

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of service advisor experience at a franchised dealership -- required
• BMW or European brand experience a strong plus -- familiarity with BMW service processes, warranty procedures, and the brand's guest expectations is a meaningful advantage
• Clear, composed communicator -- able to explain service needs in plain language and follow through without gaps
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail -- accurate estimates and realistic timelines are non-negotiable
• Demonstrates a high HQ (Hospitality Quotient) -- kindness and optimism, genuine curiosity, strong work ethic, empathy, and integrity
• Comfortable with DMS platforms -- Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
