Swickard Auto Group in Portland is hiring a sales consultant for BMW of Portland. You will welcome guests, present the BMW lineup, and arrange test drives to translate performance into guest excitement.

Ideal candidates have automotive or luxury hospitality backgrounds, a relationship-first mindset, and a track record of follow-through. Training and an extensive benefits package accompany the role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with curiosity and warmth, uncover needs before presenting options.
• Guide guests through the BMW lineup with product knowledge and confidence.
• Present vehicles and conduct test drives that showcase the driving experience.
• Build guest pipeline through disciplined follow-up and CRM usage.
• Collaborate with finance and management for a transparent, pressure-free purchase.
• Meet monthly targets while maintaining strong guest satisfaction scores.
• Stay current on BMW lineup, tech features, and EV/PHEV offerings.
• Represent BMW of Portland and Swickard's hospitality standards in every interaction.

What You'll Do

• Present vehicles and conduct test drives that bring the BMW driving experience to life
• Build and maintain a guest pipeline through consistent, disciplined follow-up and CRM use
• Collaborate with finance and management to deliver a transparent, pressure-free purchase experience
• Meet monthly targets while maintaining strong guest satisfaction scores
• Stay current on BMW's full lineup, technology features, and the growing EV and PHEV offerings
• Represent BMW of Portland and Swickard's hospitality standard in every guest interaction

What We're Looking For

• Automotive sales experience preferred -- candidates from luxury hospitality, high-end retail, outdoor and lifestyle industries, and other consultative backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• Genuine enthusiasm for the BMW brand -- performance, technology, and design are real talking points in Portland and the best consultants believe in them
• Relationship-first approach -- you listen before you present and earn trust before you ask for the sale
• Self-motivated with a consistent track record of follow-through and results
• Clear, honest communicator -- BMW buyers are informed and appreciate a consultant who respects that
• Comfortable with CRM tools and digital communication
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
