BMW of Portland, part of Swickard Auto Group, is seeking a Sales Consultant to build lasting guest relationships and drive luxury automotive sales in Portland, OR.

Strong candidates bring automotive or luxury hospitality experience, a genuine brand passion, and a proven ability to follow through. The role offers an opportunity to grow within a hospitality-first dealership.

Qualifications

• Automotive sales or luxury hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with curiosity and warmth, uncover what they want before presenting options.
• Guide guests through BMW lineup with product knowledge and connect features to buyer needs.
• Present vehicles and conduct test drives to convey the BMW driving experience.
• Build and maintain a guest pipeline via consistent follow-up and CRM use.
• Collaborate with finance and management to ensure a transparent, pressure-free purchase.
• Meet monthly targets while maintaining guest satisfaction scores.
• Stay current on BMW lineup, tech features, and EV/PHEV offerings.
• Represent BMW of Portland and Swickard’s hospitality standard in every interaction.

• Represent BMW of Portland and Swickard's hospitality standard in every guest interaction

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Automotive sales experience preferred – candidates from luxury hospitality, high-end retail, outdoor and lifestyle industries, and other consultative backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• Genuine enthusiasm for the BMW brand -- performance, technology, and design are real talking points in Portland and the best consultants believe in them
• Relationship-first approach -- you listen before you present and earn trust before you ask for the sale
• Self-motivated with a consistent track record of follow-through and results
• Clear, honest communicator -- BMW buyers are informed and appreciate a consultant who respects that
• Comfortable with CRM tools and digital communication
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
