Job summary

James River Equipment is seeking a Service Advisor at our Ashland Ag/Turf location. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, coordinating repairs, and communicating with customers and technicians to ensure accurate estimates and timely service.

Responsibilities include processing authorizations, scheduling, completing invoices with warranty work, and maintaining clear progress updates. The ideal candidate excels in high-volume environments and leverages CDK and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Must provide exceptional customer service in person, by phone, and online.
• Strong follow-up and communication with technicians, parts staff, and customers.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to high-volume inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Complete customer service authorizations and provide repair estimates/quotes.
• Communicate estimated start time and completion date to customers; update progress.
• Assign SPGs/repair times to work orders; manage service jobs and approve technician reports.
• Invoice customers including warranty work and review invoice before closing work orders.
