Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Pittsburgh, part of the Bobby Rahal Automotive Group, seeks a Service Advisor to join our team. Hours are Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a focus on delivering exceptional client care and accurate repair documentation.

You will greet clients, verify vehicle issues, test drive when needed, provide cost estimates, explain work performed, and handle inquiries. We reward teamwork and promote from within.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and desire to help others are required.
• Solid basic computer skills, including typing.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients in a timely, friendly manner and document vehicle issues clearly on a repair order.
• Test drive the vehicle with client as needed to confirm the problem.
• Advise client on vehicle care and maintenance per manufacturer specs.
• Provide a complete written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Explain completed work and all charges to client.
• Handle telephone inquiries regarding customer questions, appointments, and work in progress.

As a Service Advisor You Will

• Greet clients in a timely, friendly manner and obtain information about their vehicle. Document any issues the vehicle may have accurately and clearly on a repair order.
• Test drive the vehicle with client as needed to confirm the problem.
• Advise client on the care of their vehicle and the value of maintaining the vehicle in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.
• Provide a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Explain completed work and all charges to client.
• Handle telephone inquiries regarding customer questions, appointments, and work in progress.

What are the general requirements of a Service Advisor?
