Job summary

Group 1 Honda of Owings Mills is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our busy service department. Ideal candidates are customer‑driven, with strong communication skills and a knack for explaining vehicle maintenance and repair needs to customers.

The role involves scheduling, estimating, and coordinating with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely service. A sign‑on bonus up to $2,500 is offered for experienced advisors.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of Automotive Service Advisor experience.
• Must be available to work Monday through Saturday.
• CDK and Xtime experience is a plus but not required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure smooth customer experience.
• Create transparent repair orders with accurate cost and time estimates.
• Communicate with technicians and parts team to guarantee timely service completion.
• Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their vehicle.
• Maintain strong product knowledge to assist with service needs and warranty information.

Compensation: The compensation for this position is salary plus commission. Earnings from commissions may vary based on several factors, including individual performance and market conditions, allowing total income up to $50,000 - $110,000 a year.
