Job summary

JX Enterprises, Inc. in Marquette, MI is seeking a Service Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service and drive repair work efficiently. You will coordinate with shop staff, document repairs, and communicate with customers and insurers to secure approvals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of related automotive repair facility or heavy-duty truck experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills with Windows; familiarity with business systems.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL required or able to obtain.
• Must demonstrate prioritization, reliability and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Process shop repair orders by scheduling and assigning work to shop staff.
• Document and diagnose repairs using photographs.
• Communicate with customers and insurance companies for authorizations.
• Monitor schedules to ensure timely repairs and pricing accuracy.

The Opportunity (Job Purpose):

Are you ready to make a visible impact? As our next Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service. We are looking for an energetic, solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is eager to grow with us.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day (Essential Duties & Responsibilities):

• Process all shop repair orders by scheduling & assigning work to shop Associates.


• Document and diagnose necessary repairs by taking photographs.


• Work closely with communication with customers and insurance companies to obtain necessary authorization and documentation relating to repair work.


• Monitor job schedules to ensure timeliness of repairs and job pricing.


• Complete invoicing and collecting procedures in a timely manner.


• Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive experiences for our customers.


• Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Skills):

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Three (3) years of related automotive repair facility or heavy-duty truck experience preferred.


• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Windows. Must possess demonstrated skills in computer-generated business systems.


• Valid driver’s license required; CDL required, or ability to obtain.
