Frank's Truck Center in Lyndhurst, NJ is seeking a full-time Service Advisor to join a fast-paced, customer-driven service department. You will greet customers, schedule service, and act as the liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring accurate diagnoses and timely repairs.

Responsibilities include presenting service options, providing cost estimates, and maintaining clear communication with customers about status and timelines. Experience with CDK and fleet knowledge are pluses.

Formación

• At least 2 years service advisor/writer experience in an auto or truck dealership.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Computer and organizational skills.
• Invoicing and vehicle knowledge.
• CDK experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with fleets a plus.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
• Technical school/training a plus.

We are fast paced customer driven dealership seeking a reliable, self motivated person with excellent communication skills to add to our exceptional Service Department.

Frank's Truck Center is a full service dealership for GMC, Freightliner, Hino and Izuzu vehicles including sales, service and parts.Since 1930 Frank's Truck Center has been serving the truck industry with honesty and integrity.

Some Job Responsibilities are:

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Schedule appointments and manage service orders
• Liaison between the customers and technicians
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately diagnose vehicle issues
• Recommend appropriate services and repairs based on customer needs
• Provide estimates for service costs and timelines
• Constant communication with customer over the phone and in person
• Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicles
• Constant communication with technicians to ensure proper services and timely completion of repairs
• Opening repair orders and invoicing
• Closing repair orders and taking payments
• Vehicle parts and service knowledge

Required Experience - the ideal candidate will have:

• At least 2 years service advisor/writer experience in an auto or truck dealership
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Computer and organizational skills
• Invoicing and vehicle knowledge
• CDK Experience strongly preferred
• Experience with fleets a PLUS
• Bi-Lingual in Spanish a PLUS
• Technical school/training a PLUS
