Job summary

Frank’s Truck Center, located in Lyndhurst, NJ, is seeking a FULL TIME CDL Driver to support our busy SERVICE Department. The position requires someone energetic and dependable who can work well in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include driving vehicles to various locations, liaising between sales and service departments, and ensuring efficient vehicle delivery. Candidates must have a valid CDL license and preferably 2 years of experience in a dealership.

This position offers a starting rate of $20 to $22 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL License (Class A or B) with Clean Driver Record.
• 2 years experience, preferably in a dealership.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Pre & Post truck inspection experience.
• Ability to lift 50-60lbs throughout the day.
• At least 21 years of age (insurance requirement).

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles to dealerships, customers, or other repair facilities.
• Liaison between sales and service to ensure efficient vehicle delivery.
• Movement of vehicles to and from various locations.
• Check in vehicles from transporters or vendors.

In addition, we also represent Hino, Freightliner & Isuzu commercial trucks. Our dealership is located in Lyndhurst, New Jersey and also has service, parts & financing departments on site. We specialize in commercial trucks and have a large commercial truck parts department that serves New Jersey, New York City and more.

WE'RE SEEKING SOMEONE ENERGETIC and DEPENDABLE WHO WORKS WELL IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT. This position requires a CDL and is short distance driving. It requires frequent in and out of vehicles and constant communication with sales and service departments. The position also requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Movement of vehicles, including medium to heavy duty truck, to and from various locations
• Driving vehicles to dealerships, customers or other repair facilities
• Dealer swaps
• Provides transportation for customers.
• Liaison between sales and service to ensure efficient vehicle delivery to customers.
• Pick up and deliver vehicles to vendors and customers.
• Check in vehicles from transporters or vendors
• Must be alert of traffic flow to sales and service lots and follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Other duties may be assigned by management.

This is a full time position with benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401(k) )

Starting rate $20 to $22 per hour with opportunities for overtime
