Job summary

Lawrence Ford is expanding its service team and seeking an Automotive Service Advisor in Lawrence, KS. You’ll be the link between customers and technicians, helping to interpret vehicle needs and ensuring an exceptional service experience from start to finish.

The role emphasizes customer service, communication, and sales ability, with a base plus commission plan and significant earning potential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable speaking with customers in person, by phone, text and email.
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using computers and learning dealership software.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet MVR requirements.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

As a Service Advisor, you're the connection between our customers and our technicians. You'll help customers understand what their vehicles need while making sure they receive an excellent experience from beginning to end.

Previous automotive service experience is preferred, but we are absolutely willing to train the right person.

Automotive knowledge is a plus, but experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or another fast-paced customer-facing position can translate extremely well into this role.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Bend, stoop, squat, reach, and move comfortably
• Enter and exit vehicles without assistance
• Move throughout the service drive, shop, customer areas, and dealership offices
• Safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
