Job summary

Fort Collins Auto seeks a Service Advisor to greet customers, collect vehicle information, and clearly report symptoms for diagnosis and repair. You will estimate costs, coordinate with technicians, and keep customers updated on progress throughout the day.

The role requires excellent communication, teamwork, and a commitment to customer satisfaction, with opportunities for growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Past experience as a Service Advisor or equivalent is required.
• High energy level and motivation for long-term career growth.
• Personal and professional integrity.
• ADP computer experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly.
• Obtain customer and vehicle information.
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.
• Determine and recommend needed maintenance based on age, mileage and history.
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of labor and parts.
• Establish follow-up time with customers.
• Monitor progress of each vehicle and update customers daily.
• Verify final invoice matches work performed.
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Make sure the work specified on the repair order is completed with efficiency, accuracy and in accordance with dealership policies
• Explain to Technician what Customer has described so that the Technician can Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems efficiently.
• Communicate with Customers about what the Technicians may have found and if any additional service is needed. Explain online multi-point inspection report
• Make sure repairs under warranty are completed to manufacturer specifications

REQUIREMENTS

• Past experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager or Service Consultant is a must
• Above average energy level
• A desire for a long term career with a growing organization
• Personal and professional integrity
• ADP computer experience a plus
