Job summary

Laramie Range Ford is seeking a skilled automotive technician to join our service team. You will perform repair orders with accuracy, diagnose and repair vehicle systems, and test drivings as needed while keeping customers informed through the Service Advisor.

Qualifications

• Fast learner with the ability to pick up new tasks quickly, and adapt to dealership policies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong customer service orientation and professional rapport with clients.
• Able to work well in a team and support colleagues.
• Computer literacy for estimating, records, and diagnostics.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order accurately and efficiently.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment; test drive vehicles.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems as needed.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about any additional services for customers.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
• Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; test drive vehicles
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Complete online multi-point inspection report
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
