Job summary

Beyer Volvo part of Beyer Auto Group is seeking a professional Service Advisor to join our service team. This role offers potential to earn 100k+ with a high compensation package and a staggered schedule designed to accommodate time with family.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, collecting vehicle data, reporting symptoms, estimating labor and parts, and keeping customers updated on progress and final invoices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a service advisory role.
• Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset.
• High volume service environment experience preferred.
• CSI focused to drive customer satisfaction.
• Good reading, computer, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and gather vehicle information.
• Clearly report vehicle symptoms as described by customers.
• Recommend maintenance based on age, mileage, and history.
• Prepare accurate labor and parts estimates.
• Establish follow-up times and monitor progress of each vehicle.
• Update customers regularly on status and invoices.

Service Advisor responsibilities

• Greeting customers promptly
• Obtaining customer and vehicle information
• Clearly reporting all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
• Determining and recommending needed maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
• Establish follow up time
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and updating customers frequently
• Verifying that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
• Explaining all completed work and charges to customers

Requirements:
